Wally Werner
Mr. Werner is a founding partner with BroadbandVideo and serves as chief technologist and network operations guru. He directs the day-to-day operations of the BroadbandVideo streaming network as well as the back-end architecture enabling streaming presentations and video functionality. Involved in streaming video applications since 1996, Mr. Werner is considered to be one of the pioneers of streaming video frameworks. His early groundbreaking efforts in relational database architecture for streaming media have set a standard for the industry.

Mr. Werner's experience spans more than 20 years in the information technology field. Over the past 10 years, he has been involved in web and E-Commerce software development projects, including system architecture, database design, and application development for oil and gas exploration data at Petroleum Information. At the College for Financial Planning, he developed a major web site, redefined the way examinations were delivered, and redeveloped the College’s entire curriculum for Web delivery.

Prior to the days of the Web, Werner held various positions including Director of Advanced Technology with Dun’s Marketing Services, a division of Dun & Bradstreet, where he developed large record databases and applications for production environments. Mr. Werner holds a Bachelor of Science in both Physics and Mathematics from Augustana College.

Jonathan “Jock” G. Mirow
Mr. Mirow is a founding partner with BroadbandVideo and is responsible for video integration, interface design and encoding methodologies. He also oversees the strategic direction of streaming media products and serves as a technical liaison to the production community.

Mr. Mirow began his career in the newspaper and publishing industry before becoming Manager of Creative Services for Jones Intercable and later at United Cable of Colorado. He served as Art Director at both Fox31 and UPN20 and subsequently joined America Online as the Senior Producer for Digital City Denver where he ran the creative and production department. During his tenure at Digital City, he is attributed with the creation of the “Chat-Cam”, a synchronized environment featuring an online interview and video feed. The initial “Chat-Cam” experiments with noted television personality Geraldo Rivera drew thousands of participants.

Following his role as Senior Creative Director at MapQuest.com, where Mr. Mirow revised the look and feel of the popular mapping service, he was instrumental in the creation of the broadband creative services department at MediaOne, which designed many video-on-the-web prototype applications. He also supervised the design and advertising for 13 regional local-content websites under the MediaOne RoadRunner brand.
